Consider the “Live area” of your sheet, leave enough space for cutting, and determine the minimum order quantity for accurate planning. How to Apply Custom Heat Transfers:
To achieve optimal results when applying your custom heat transfers, you’ll need a commercial heat press machine with a minimum of 50 lbs of pressure and a temperature range of 275°F to 300°F. Follow these guidelines based on the type of plastisol transfer formula you choose:
Ultra Ink™ Custom Heat Transfers:
- Temperature: 275°F to 300°F
- Dwell time: 12 to 15 seconds
- Pressure: 45 to 50 PSI
- Peel immediately after raising the heat platen.
Easy Ink™ Plastisol Transfers:
- Temperature: 275°F to 300°F (less for tote bags)
- Dwell time: 10 to 15 seconds
- Pressure: 45 to 50 PSI
- Peel immediately after raising the heat platen.
Fashion Ink* Heat Transfers:
- Temperature: 325°F
