Acceptable File Formats
Ultra Ink™, Easy Ink, Fashion Ink – Screen Printed Transfers
- Adobe Illustrator CC or lower
- Corel Draw X7 or lower
- Photoshop CC or lower *We prefer non-raster art, if image is rasterized this will only be used as a guideline for recreating new art
- EPS, PDF, or SVG
Hot Printz – DTF Transfers
- Adobe Illustrator CC or lower
- Corel Draw X7 or lower

- PNG with transparent background
Artwork needs to be sent ready to print for this product. We do not create artwork, scale logos or color match for this product. All files must be sent with a transparent background.
Set Size
Ultra Ink™, Easy Ink, Fashion Ink
- Set your artboard to 11.5” x 18” and place your artwork inside that printable area at the exact size you want to print.
Hot Printz DTF
- Set your artboard to one of the (7) DTF sheet sizes and place your artwork inside that printable area at the exact size you want to print. Artwork must fit in the sheet size you select.
- Sheet Sizes:
3.5″ x 3.5″, 4″ x 2.5″, 9″ x 5″, 11″ x 9″, 11″ x 11″, 11″x14″, 12 x 22″
Convert Fonts
All fonts must be converted to outlines. Type that is still editable may not display properly depending on the computers font library.
- Adobe Illustrator
Select all text, go to Type Menu > Create Outlines - Corel Draw
Select all text, go to Arrange Menu > Convert to Curves - Photoshop
Select all text, go to Layers Panel > Right Click, Rasterize Type
Check Detail
To be sure fine detail will print clearly, the smallest areas must meet the requirements below.
Ultra Ink™
- Minimum Line Thickness – 2.6 point or .036″
- Minimum Negative Space- 2 point or .028″
Easy Ink or Fashion Ink
- Minimum Line Thickness – 1 point or .014″
- Minimum Negative Space- 2 point or .028″
Artwork that is 2+ colors may require minimum printed areas to be 2.3 point or .034″ to account for the under base.
Hot Printz DTF
- Minimum Line Thickness – 1.25 point or .017″
- Minimum Negative Space- 1.25 point or .017″

We do not create artwork, scale logos or color match for this product.
We print directly from your provided art file. Apex does not guarantee any colors. We do not offer credits or reprints on this product if colors are not as expected. Colors can look different from screen to print. Apex limits it’s liability to our products and will not be held responsible for any decorated or damaged garments due to an order that was produced incorrectly. Before decorating your garments, please confirm product type, design colors, spelling, size and layout are correct.

Order Policies
Shipping
All orders are FOB Elk River, MN. Apex will not be held responsible for any delivery that is delayed or lost by the freight carrier. We charge all orders before they leave our facility.

Payment & Terms
All new accounts are prepaid, credit card, Net 30 terms will be granted only after approved credit application and personal guarantee. Interest will be applied to any accounts over 60 days past due, at a rate of 1.5% per month. Any account 60 days overdue will have orders held until the account is brought current.
Order Changes
We will make every effort to accommodate requests for order changes; however, customers will be responsible for any work already completed. We may require a new work order to be submitted for the change if the original order is already completed.
Order Returns
We do not accept any returns on custom-cut goods. For roll goods, call for a return authorization within 5 business days of receipt.
Order Errors
We must be notified within 5 business days of receipt of an order regarding any errors. Apex limits its liability to our products and will not be held responsible for any decorated or damaged garments due to an order that was produced incorrectly. Before decorating your garments, please confirm product type, design colors, spelling, size, and layout are correct. Regarding billing discrepancies, Apex must be notified of errors within 10 days of receipt of the invoice.
Copyrights
Apex indemnifies itself from responsibility of misuse of any copyrighted designs. It is the customer’s responsibility to make sure they have the proper authority to use any logo submitted. Any and all logos we display are the property of their respective owners and merely represent the type of work we can provide. Apex will request proof of proper authority in any situation we deem necessary. Apex is firmly committed to protecting any and all copyright laws.
